Welcome to MR Driving School. These terms and conditions outline the rules and regulations for our professional driving tuition. By booking a course with us in Worksop or the surrounding areas, you accept these terms in full.

Our Goal: To provide a safe, structured, and calm learning environment that helps you build lifelong safe driving habits.

1. Booking and Payments

To secure your preferred dates, all intensive driving courses must be booked through our official office team or online system.

• Deposit: A non-refundable deposit of £150 is required at the time of booking. This covers the administrative costs of securing your instructor and test dates.

• Full Balance: You must pay the remaining balance no later than two weeks before your first lesson begins.

• Payment Methods: We accept payments via bank transfer or our secure online portal. Additionally, we cannot begin tuition until the full balance is cleared.

2. Cancellations and Rescheduling

We value our instructors’ time and the commitment they make to your success. Therefore, we operate a strict cancellation policy:

• Notice Period: You must provide at least 48 hours’ notice to cancel or move a lesson.

• Late Cancellations: If you cancel with less than 48 hours’ notice, the lesson will be charged at the full rate.

• Instructor Cancellations: On rare occasions, your instructor may need to reschedule due to mechanical breakdown or illness. In this event, we will provide as much notice as possible and rearrange your session.

3. Practical Driving Tests

Our primary focus is your safety on the road. Consequently, the use of the instructor’s car for a practical test is subject to their professional approval.

• Safety Standards: If your instructor believes your driving does not yet meet the required safety standards, they reserve the right to withhold the vehicle for the test.

• Test Fees: Practical and Theory test fees are paid directly to the DVSA and are non-refundable once the booking is confirmed.

• Documentation: It is your responsibility to bring your valid UK provisional driving licence to every lesson and to your test.

4. Refunds and Foundations

We want you to be entirely satisfied with your experience.

• 14-Day Window: You are entitled to a refund within 14 days of your initial booking, provided no tests have been purchased or instructors assigned.

• Exclusions: Once the 14-day period has passed, the £150 deposit becomes non-refundable. Furthermore, any hours already completed or tests already booked cannot be refunded.

5. Safety and Conduct

To maintain a professional environment, we expect all learners to follow these safety guidelines:

• Fitness to Drive: You must not be under the influence of alcohol or drugs (including certain prescription medications) during a lesson.

• Mobile Phones: For your safety and the safety of others, mobile phones must be switched off or placed on “Do Not Disturb” during tuition.

• Highway Code: All students are expected to maintain a basic understanding of the Official Highway Code for road safety.
